Girl's Lacrosse Positions

In girls youth lacrosse today, there is less emphasis on concrete names for positions. Players set up and play in areas of the field – attack, midfield and defense.

The Founders Girls Lacrosse League supports the following position names for:
10v10 play: left attack, right attack, center attack, left midfield, center midfield, right midfield, left defense, center defense, right defense, goalie

12v12 play: left low attack, left high attack, right low attack, right high attack, left midfield, center midfield, right midfield, left high defense, left low defense, right high defense, right low defense, goalie
