Grade 1/2

CCYL runs an In-town program for grades 1/2 that is based on safe skill development and a fun atmosphere.

Practice will occur 1 time a week beginning mid April and ending mid June.  Practice is Friday night at the CCHS upper grass fields, from 6-7:15pm, depending on light.

Full equipment is required to participate.  Equipment includes:  helmet, mouth guard, shoulder pads, arm pads, gloves, athletic supporter and lacrosse stick.

This is a development grade and we do not play in a league.  Potentially the coaches will be able to organize a game against another town at the end of the season, but not definite.

Pinneys will be issued to players that are new to the program. All returning players will wear their pinneys from last Fall/Spring.

All current and new players must have an up-to-date US lacrosse membership.  The registration system will take you to US Lacrosse to update or create a family membership. You cannot complete your CCYL registration without being current with US lacrosse as that is our form of insurance.  US lacrosse membership fee: $35

This is a development grade, games are played on a small sided field with only 6 players and a goalie at a time.  We will have teams of 10 or 12 and they may change weekly (or not), to make sure they are balanced.  There is not an A and B distinction at this grade.

Grade 3 is the first time that you need a full uniform. The base registration fee for the program is $235 and the cost of the uniform ($60) has been added to this base registration fee, totaling $295 for the overall player registration. Uniforms are mandatory for all players!!
