2023 Girls Spring Grades 1/2 Lacrosse
PLEASE EMAIL Caroline Myler (carolinekmyler@gmail.com) if you are registering after March 17th, so you can be added to the roster and be caught up on any email communications about the season.
Grade 1/2 players will participate in an "in-town" program, introducing skills and game concepts, with a big emphasis on fun. No lacrosse experience is necessary, all are welcome!
Practices will be held on Sunday mornings (10-11:15AM) at the CCHS upper grass fields beginning in early April (weather permitting, as we need to wait until grass field usage is permitted). Tentative program dates are:

May 7, 14, 21
June 4, 12
Players will need a girls lacrosse stick, eye protection (goggles), a mouthguard, and sneakers/cleats. No uniforms are required at this grade level.
The Founders Girls Lacrosse League provides insurance directly to players. CCYL is including the cost as part of your season registration fee.

2023 Girls Spring Grade 3/4 Lacrosse
Girls grade 3/4 players will participate in the Founder’s Girls Lacrosse League (FGLL), an instructional league that focuses on player development and fun. No lacrosse experience is necessary, new players are welcome and encouraged! Player team assignments will be made with the goal of creating even, balanced teams.
During the season there will be 2 practices/week (Tu/Thurs 6-7:15pm) and 1 game/week on Sundays. Outdoor practices will begin March 28th. Games will be held April 2, 9, 23, 30, May 7, 14, and June 4. We will send all teams to the Founder's Jamboree in Devens on Sunday, June 11th as the capstone of the season!
We will fill 3 teams to 45 players on a first come first serve basis. After this, a waitlist will be created. Team assignments will be made in March.
FGLL is providing insurance to the CCYL girls program at $35/player.
The CCYL girls uniform will consist of a reversible CC pinnie and black shorts (player provided). Returning players will use their pinnies from 2022. New players, and returning players who are in need of a new pinnie, need to purchase a pinnie via the uniform store located on the home page of the CCYL website (far right of horizontal navigation bar).Pinnies ordered through the uniform store will be distributed at the beginning of the season, in person.
Program cost = $285 ($250 for registration + $35 FGLL insurance fee) for players who register by 12/31/22. A late fee of $35 will be assessed for players who register after this point, assuming space is available.

CCYL runs an In-Town program for boys grades 1/2 that is based on safe skill development in a fun, clinic-style atmosphere; we do not play in a league with games. Potentially the coaches will be able to organize informal scrimmages against other towns, as well as participate in an end of the season local tournament.
